DAO 3.5 - dll conflicts?

Hello,

I have a couple of customers, who can not run my program. The
problem
is, that an OpenDatabase fails. The error code is unknown to me, but
obviously the database, that shall be opened is present and
accessible.

I suspect, that on these systems there is one of the famous and
well-known mix-ups of DLL's, that leads to the errors.

Could someone please give me an idea, what I could do? I think, what
I need is a propper installation of DAO 3.5, which is the technology I perform database access with.

Any help will be appreciated.

MS has published DLLHelp database that tells you the version of DLLs you need
