how can I use the windows registry using c++? Also, what can I do so that sleep() does not freeze the computer while it's sleeping for a long time? Would a loop solve it? oh and also, how do I put an icon in the system tray? I suppose I need to make a menu for it too, using resources, how would I make the menu work. I know eh, lots-a-questions. I hope they can all be answered:). Thanks!!!

Have a look into MSDN for description of these registry-related functions:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/sysinfo/regapi_59mb.asp

To put icon to system tray use Shell_NotifyIcon() function from Shell API.

Please - rate answer if it helped you
It gives me inspiration when I see myself in the top list =)
