As part of the installation of a vb6 application, I want to check if the user has Internet Explorer 4 installed on their P.C. and display the appropriate warning if they don't. Is there any way of building this into the setup provided by VB or has anyone used a good third party package that facilitates it ????
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Brid.

I don't know about VB6, but in VB5 you are given the source-code for the setup application which you can modify at will. Check in the VB6 Help file to see if this is possible.

Hi
I've just found a Freeware Installation program at :

I don't know whether it will do what you want, but it looks pretty good.
