A client socket application connected to a server dll application

I have written a winsock client application (*.exe) and a server application(*.exe). Those *.exes are succesfully comunicating. When I am using the same code with the server to build a server.dll file, this file does not communicate with the client.exe. Could you specify what to do? If there is something useful in a web page, please inform me!
