How do you add bitmaps to a toolbar

This seems like an easy thing to do. I've created the toolbar using CreateWindowEx and have the toolbar displaying as well as the buttons themselves, but am not sure how to absorb the images into each button using TBN_GETDISPINFO. Can someone show me how to do this, maybe using CreateToolbarEx is an easier way? Either will work. One additional question, regarding the resource, do you create a "Toolbar" resource as one big image and pull from there or do you create individual "Bitmaps" and use those? Never done this before so any help would be greatly appreciated!
