function usage

Hi,

Am using some third party libraries. But the following has me confused. The following operator (???) exists in a template class .How would I use it.

// Cast the Array to it's elemental type.

operator T *()
{
copyOnWrite();
return (T *)data;
}

[NMTop40]

That operator allows you to pass a the class to a function that requires a T* (or assign it etc)
