Compiler setting

Hi,

What should I give & where should I give in the compiler settings of my project if Iam using some thing like this in my project and to make the contol go into these Definitions

#ifdef _LINUX_
// Add linux specific code to get the operating system
strOS = "Linux";
#endif
#ifdef _WIN_VER
// Add Windows specific code to get the operating system
#endif

I would pass it to the compiler directly.

In Linux
gcc -D_LINUX_ ...

In windows you need to go into the project settings and have it define _WIN_VER where appropriate.
