Query Multi Record sets

Is it possible perform a join between two differnt records sets(different mdb).

What I would like to do is to update a field where ID's match and street are different. This comparision would be between to differnt tables in two different mdb files.

should be possible if the tables are linked into the database; other than that it is just a simple join.
