DDE Commands to Word'97

Does anyone know where I can find detailed info on Microsoft Word'97s built in DDE system calls.
Also, how to prevent the DDE executions from flagging the Normal Template as 'dirty'

DDE is slightly old. On the way look for OLE interface functions/members for how to control an intance of MS WOrd. and pass it along:-)
