Hi!
I'm an intermediate C++ programmer and a beginning Visual C++ programmer and I have decided to learn Visual Basic as part of my MCSD certification (as the elective test). I'm interested in knowing, about how quick is the fastest time someone could prepare from ground zero in Visual Basic (aside from using Basic some back in the late 80's) in order to pass the 70-176 exam with confidence. I just bought 2 books: Microsoft's MCSD Training Kit for 70-176 and Sam's Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 21 days.
I am a quick learner and plan to study 7 days/week.
Thanks for your time and replies!

p.s. I'm not interested in a 'Brain Dump' technique of learning just the right material in short-term memory in order to pass and then forgetting it all a couple of weeks later. I want to have a good fundamental grasp on the language before taking the exam.
