Hi!
Possibly this is not the rigth forum to post something like this, but the response was very good the last few times.
My problem: I wrote a Word (97) document (approx. 1.5MB) and saved it. Next day I opened it again and *bang* all the text except one and a half line from somewhere in the text were GONE! Well, thats nothing unusual but the file is still 1.5MB large.
When I open it in a text editor (as plain text) I still see tons of text, but it's nearly unreadable 'cause it's VERY unsorted (means: not human readable). Perhaps someone knows a way to get that document working again or a good (free) tool for that.
I already found a tool called "Word Recovery" where the demo repaired the file and showed it, but I couldn't save or copy the text (it's a demo). perhaps someone knows how to get data from a RichEdit-Window of a running application?!?
I hope that someone can help me with this.
Thanx,
Bernhard
