error trying to run VB code

Hi, I'm geting an error saying "Could not access system registry" when I click the run button. Visual Studio complies and everything, but right when it should launch the program, I get that message. Any thoughts? This has made it impossible to run my code to debug it. Thanks!

Try reinstalling VB or VS. I had the same problem.

see, I've tried that...well I didn't, out IT dept did. I suppose I should just uninstall it and redo it myslef. Thanks. Any other thoughts about what it might be?
