i have two textboxes on my form.by using any of these : MSHFlexGrid,DataGrid,DBGrid, i want to display cust_code and cust_name fields into any of these grids from my database(ms-access).in these grids can i navigate the records through keyboard i.e. when i press c it should go to the record with the cust_name starting with c and when i press m it should go to the record with the cust_name starting with m.when the user clicks on the particualr record i would like the cust_code to appear in text1 and cust_name in text2.please help me out.

This is possible with DBList,but in DBList i can have only one column or row.

Form your Access db create a recordset and enter it for example to the MSFlexGrid. If you want you can sort you your flexgrid by cust_name.
Now when you tipe "c" in your text box, you have to search the cust_name column in the flexgrid and go to the first record which starts with "c".
