FTP Source dode in C for Win NT and UNIX

I need your help.. Very Urgent

I need to write an FTP application in C to connect to a romote servore and to copy files to process locally

I have done this in VB and works fine but now I need this application to work both under Win NT and UNIX.

It is the first time for me..

Has any body got a sample code i can use oe a source which I can look
