Hello,

We will be purchasing VS.NET for our development team.

Above which version of VS.NET is the program Visual Source Safe automatically included? It comes with Enterprise Edition. Is it also present in a more economical version?

We have been using VS 6c without any problems

We bought VisualStudio .NET Enterprise Architect last week, and the version of Visual SourceSafe (VSS) included in the package is 6.0c.

Enterprise Architect and Entreprise Developper are the only VisualStudio .NET packages I know of which includes VSS. You can also buy VSS 6.0c as a standalone program.

It intergrates very well with VisualStudio .NET.

I don't know if previous versions of VSS work with .NET.
