Taking data from a standard HTML form and adding it to XML

Alright team,

I'm back and this time I've made progress. Thanks for your help so far.

I need some more help, so if you are reading this and could help me, that would be great :)

I have a form, that people on my site fill in. Standard stuff, name, email address etc..

When they press submit I need to input that data into an XML file, I also need to generate a date and time stamp for each file to make it unique.

I really am stuck so any pointers would be great, any direct advice, better.
