Hi Folks !!
Please help me with the following problem.
Problem - Unable to create Web Services project in visual studio .net.
Error Message - I get a FrontPage error dialog box mentioning a possible conflict on port 80 between IIS and PWS. (see attachment)
Configuration - Windows 2000 Professional, IIS 5.0, PWS (now removed), Visual Studio .Net Beta2, FrontPage 2000 and server extension.
My Troubleshooting Effort - (1) I uninstalled PWS (and restarted system), still same error. (2) MSDN suggested I repair my .NET installation so that it detects the change in my server configuration. However, could not find the executable (see attachment). (3) Could not find http://localhost/sqlce/sscesa10.dll to check IIS configuration. (4) The fpsrvadm.exe complained about incompatibility between server administration and extension (see attachment). (5) Under system administration, IIS -> Default Web Site, right click -> 'All Task', only have 'Permissions Wizard',no 'Check Configuration'; though somewhere I read this means that the server extension is configured properly.
Thanks
Vishal
