i'm using mschart to publish my chart on a ASP page... is it possbile for me to click on either bar on the chart and popup a window showing the details or the particular bar?

this is not a direct answer to your question, but you might want to check out http://www.asp101.com/samples/bar_chart.asp
a sample for creating bar charts in ASPs...
If you wanted to trap click events on SUCH a chart you could use DHTML event trapping.
