I joined this forum because I know that you guys are demi-diety's to me and I want what you have..........which is of course to be able to code. Maybe not to Guru limit's but at least fluently enuff to be able to work on a few small software idea's I have and maybe some gaming cuz its a pretty viable and healthy place to be in the PC world these days. (At least it looks that way by the numbers)
I am stuck working 2 jobs and Im a widowed Father of 2 so school is in no shape or form a part of any future for me but thats Ok if I have to put my life on hold for my kids, I love them and they are all I have left in this world! So, I was dying to sign up and ask a bunch of questions like "Where does a newbie start"? and is it true that you should be fluent in HTML/Java first? (Someone told me that)
But I wont waste your time as I see this forum is for primo advanced coder's and so Ill just keep reading and hanging in there until either I learn something or this burning desire to code leaves me............that wont happen so Im stuck learning something but Sonu, you are starting to scare me buddy seriously..........is this what I will be doing in my spare time? Does this coding thing consume lives?? When the bell rings dont you go play Tennis or Handball ormaybe a good dinner/Movie .............something! Making "Codeguru" stuff to stare at on your mobile is................ I dunno :) just scary for me at this point I guess and I mean that too!

It depends what you want to do. If you are going to make some internet applications, you should definitely go first for HTML. But if you want to make any Windows Applications, you should learn C,C++ and then VC++.

I made this stuff, cause i love CG, and i know that there are some others like me. CG is just a big forum, that i couldnt find any CG stuff here, like Wallpapers. That was an another reason for me make this stuff. I think each company his its own advertisement stuff, some have caps and some may have pens with the company name. But this has nothing to do with writing any code.
Its true that i am nearly 12hours daily on my system, but only 4 hours, i write code. The reason is that i also have a regular job, as a network consulant and after my regular work i am spending as much as time is left on my system or doing learning or writing any Articles. I am in the age of 24 and i think in this age, either you can have fun or make your career. I decided to work on my career. But i also love to write code. Its a passion for me. I hope this answers your question.

Don't you have a girl-friend or some other hobbies you could do when you are not in front of your computer?? I for example couldn't just code and do something for my company, I need my portion of music everyday. If I don't get it I would get crazy!! Surely I also have some days or weeks where I work > 10 hours but then I have some days with about 7 hours...

My GF is currently in india. I have more than enough friends. My hobby is the software development :D Of course sometimes i have days, where i just check my mails and nothing more. But currently i am very busy, and until my trip to India, i dont have much time. I guess after my Trip, it will be better.
