ObjectAssembler 2.0 provides JBuilder developers with comprehensive support for software design patterns, promoting object reuse and automated design at an affordable price
(Shirley, MA: September 18, 2002) ObjectVenture Inc. (www.objectventure.com), developer of PCML (Pattern and Component Markup Language) and a premier provider of leading edge J2EE™ technology products, today announced the general availability of ObjectAssembler 2.0, which extends the market-leading JBuilder development environment from Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL) with a simplified and accelerated approach to the design, development, assembly, and deployment of J2EE applications using software design patterns.
"ObjectAssembler extends Borland JBuilder, one of the most widely used Java development environments in our industry, with a comprehensive environment to design and develop J2EE and web-based applications," said Dana Kaufman, CEO of ObjectVenture. "Of the many features ObjectAssembler provides to the JBuilder developer, we are most pleased how it automates the design process using software design patterns, such as those found in Sun's Java Center Pattern Catalog™."
ObjectAssembler simplifies the development of sophisticated enterprise applications through visual representations of patterns, components, and assemblies. Automating many of the tedious, complicated, and error-prone implementation tasks inherent in enterprise development, ObjectAssembler transforms the traditional integrated development environment into an efficient, streamlined development system. This enables developers using ObjectAssembler to focus their attention on creating business logic to solve their unique business challenges rather than being preoccupied by the details and minutia of the underlying infrastructure. ObjectAssembler offers complete support for the J2EE component-based architecture and comes integrated with both Sun's Java Center Pattern Catalog and Apache's Jakarta Struts Framework.
ObjectVenture is a member of the Borland Technology Partner Program, a thriving community of vendors building complementary products and modules that work in conjunction with Borland JBuilder.
"Borland Technology Partners such as ObjectVenture recognize the market leadership represented by JBuilder," noted David Intersimone, vice president, developer relations, at Borland. "ObjectAssembler provides the JBuilder developer community immediate benefits by incorporating and simplifying the use of software patterns in the design and development of enterprise applications."
