Hi,

Anyone experimenting with MS Speech SDK? What do you all think about it? What about VXML?

I've only played a little with the MS Speech SDK so far; however, I've sat down with a couple of the Microsoft Product people last time I was in Redmond. They walked through using it and several of its editors. Some of the editors (such as the one for creating a sound library) are fantastic!

I actually have it installed on my beta machine and have it at the top of my list of things to work with. What little dabbling I've done so far has been fun -- and interesting.

By the way, Microsoft uses SALT as the markup text versus VoiceXML.

I highly recommend people play with this. It is one of the more fun SDKs!

Brad!

Hi Brad,

I have been playing with SALT for the last week or so. It's been fun and frustrating. Got a simple application working. I tried to add some error handling and that's where I had problems. Do you have any sample applications that I could see?

I could not run another QA to end the conversation as the one before with either no reco or silence. If there is a successful reco then all is well.
