Hi there
I need to print a reciept to a slip printer, i first create a text file and and send the text to the file in the format that i want it,
when i print the file to a laser or ink jet it works fine, when i set the slip printer as the default prn using a generic text driver or a drv for the prn i get the following error message "the data area passed to a system call is to small"
If i open up the file in notepad and print the file then it prints fine.
What i would like to know if my method for doing these receipts is incorrect, i found that using crystal reports to create reciepts was an overkill but i did try creating the receipts as reports and i get the same error message when i prn to the slip prn.
I am using a Epson TM210-PD prn on Win 2000 srv.
I have searched all the resource i know and have been working on this for 3 weeks.
Please Help
Cheers
