Uploading ASP.Net project to server

Hi,

any ideas how to fine tune ASP.Net project for running on a real server, which files to upload, how to avoid common traps etc. Sometimes it just doesn't work even tho it works on a local IIS. Any reference to articles or tutorials about this would be grately appreciated.
