How to restrict user from simultaneous login...

Hi,

can anyone tell me how to restrict user from login to a application more than once at the same time?

Once he logs into the application, he should not able to login again with another browser without logging out from the current session.

How about the special case where the user logs in, then hits control-N to open up another instance of IE browser?
