As long as Brad lays low for a while, I think we'll be okay... Xeon and Brad pretty much canceled each other out.

But seriously, Xeon's departure must have been sudden, or else he would have posted saying what was going on. Here are what I see as the basic possibilities:
1. Authority figure forced him to do that work program thing (either parents or teachers)
2. Ran away from home?
3. Maybe his parents took away his internet access, thinking that CodeGuru was a bad influence on him...
4. I really have no clue. I shouldn't have made this dumb list.

Solarflare, you don't remember Xeon. Let me describe him ... hold on a sec ... wait a minute ... ha, now I remember too. :D I think he has 3500+ posts, most of them crap, is a sexually frustrated Asian male approxymately 18 years old with a major craving for "gurls" and food, the latter in the form of the notorious chicken chops. Recently this behaviour improved slightly however, I was just beginning to not dislike him, due to problems at the home front. The latter probably is also the cause of his absence. Anyway, note that the last post in the "Where are we from"-thread is around the time Xeon left. I think we can declare that thread, Xeon and Plat dead.

Hey, that last one rhymes. ;) :p

That one is dead already for some time you know. Just for info : I don't like the monarchy. It is one of the few things that holds this country together. The latter is a bad thing. The Walloons are just annoying to live with. (I'm Flemish). Belgium has 9 governments!!! For a lousy 10.000.000 people. The amount of taxes wasted on these goverments is enormous and there are always problems on who gets to do what so few decisions are taken and it takes a long time before one is made. The ones that are really necessary are probably never going to be taken since it is too hard for everybody to agree on. Screw Belgium!!!

As long as Brad lays low for a while, I think we'll be okay... Xeon and Brad pretty much canceled each other out.

Once, Lord Brad and Sir Xeon had a terrible battle side by side, fighting each other to their inevitable death on the Elysian Fields.
I slammed my Darkness Chaos at him, and he countered with his Supreme Cannon. I dashed up to him and repeatedly lashed out my blazing combos at him and he evaded my every move, and hit out with his Dragon Crusher. I dodged the blow and countered with Final Elysian. But this formidable foe evaded again and the force of power destroyed the Olympian Hills totally.
It was a very terrible fight, but halfway through the battle, I noticed the Codeguru symbol on his left arm. Then, since I realised he was a fellow Codeguru, I declared peace with him and we two share gurls and chicken chop. :D

He has never been on the light side. He tried, but chose the easy path - failing tests and as such a universal study with better perspective - which leads to the dark side as we know. But Xeon isn't that evil. Do you know who the character of the Belgian mastermind Dr. Evil was based? Yes, upon ME.

To TerrarFlarr (told you Xeon was dumb) :

I like in comedy movies e.g. Spaceballs, Little Nicky (most Adam Sandler movies are bad though), Space Quest and Conan the Barbarian (you do not actually think that is intended seriously do you?).

Recently I thought Minority Report, The Bourne Identity, and James Bond were quite good. Others are The Matrix, Gladiator, Leon, Alien and the folow ups on these cute pets, Indiana Jones and the follow ups of this increasingly geriatric saga. I can also appreciate a bad movie as me and my brother then like to make fun by cracking it down. I can appreciate some good scenes and ideas in these also, such as in the Austin Powers movie the concept of the relatives of the people who just work for an evil person, and in Resident Evil the amazing laser scene. The movie isn't good, but you got to see that scene, at least if you aren't weak hearted. Don't like Star Wars that much (my brother does), and rather despise Star Trek.

One thing I would like to know : have you seen James Bond? And if so, don't you think Madonna's song just sucks as a Bond intro?

Hmmm... X30N, do we need a bit of brushing up on the word play?

As for Sandler movies, I happen to think that Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were excellent movies (far from the best but still enjoyable). It is true that you can appreciate some scenes from a movie without liking it overall, but I'd rather have a good feeling for the whole thing, obviously. And as for James Bond, if you are referring to "Die Another Day," then no I haven't seen it yet. I'm a busy man, but I'll fit it in. (How busy can I be? I post junk here every day)

It's a balance of power, Xeon buddy. Ya see, here's how it works: There's originally a 1 v 1 situation. The third party joins with the weaker one so it isn't obliterated by the stronger one. If the weaker one ends up being stronger (the positions switch) then the third guy (me) switches sides. So you see, all you have to do is pretend you're fighting an uphill battle and I'll switch sides... oh wait you already are.

A nice and witty remark, Solar! :D
But no.......of course I'm not fighting any uphill battle, Solar.

By the way, if you want someone to listen and obey you, maybe u gotta get a pet. A dog, for example.

But if you dare to abuse the dog, then Gabriel the Lord Protector of all Dogs will prepare his shotgun for you. And I can be his lawyer, manager man + personal marketing director.
That means, I'll be the legal counsel for him when he's tried in court, and I'll handle all the young gurls and female fans for him when he's famous for being a hero. And I'll be his personal marketing director to boost his image and reputation and albums(in future) internationally.:cool::cool:

Due to the recent remarks of my colleagues, it seems that I must rethink my position in this battle of the wits taking place in CodeGuru. Both Simon and Xeon have been unsupportive of my cause. In response to the previous statement issued by my good friend Simon, I have gone through much thought and have decided to side with Xeon. Simon must be taken down at any cost. Pathetic. This shows clearly that I am the stronger side. You will perish just as Platinum. It is just a matter of time. 1) It was solarflare who suggested to leave the -ogy away from analogy in your other post. If you do not remember that one I'm afraid you're in a terminal stage of Alzheimer. As you are only 18 years old, I would instead guess Creutzfeld-Jacob. Anyway, I thought it was childish (more childish than the stuff I usually post :D) so I thought about pointing that out to him.

2) That is not necessarily sexual : that word is used in psychology and even I learned at school about the anal phase (http://childstudy.net/anal.html) in child development, and this was even in the religious class. Check it out one and type "anal phase" on Google and you'll see nearly exclusive links to medical, psychological (freud) and child studies.

3) I would not dare post that in a sexual context as I have enough problems with Gabriel already and I do not want to give him a good excuse by violating the AUP.

4) It's clear you never paid attention at school, you illiterate. If you did know the meaning, stop begging for gurls and money, it's getting annoying. Maybe the people on codeguru could lay together sponsoring you a night out at a red light district in Singapore, just to get rid of the begging.

The "good old fashioned way"? Now I'm scared. What is this, huh? It sounds like a euphemism for something much worse... I hope it's not a knife in the back. Oh, no, a knife in the front would be so much kinder.

I thought you would ask. You should be scared indeed...no...no knife in the back...no...not in front either.

It is still my old plan : save my money long enough so I can by a Russian thermonuclear warhead. I think 10,000 $ should do. :D Say solar, are there any direct flights from Russia to Phily? :D

Oh is that all! What a relief! Nah Russia will probably sell them for about US$10 or so, not 10 thousand. I mean come on, Siberia is filling up with these things fast. Anyway, your plan won't work. Airport security is tough these days. On Friday at the airport the zipper on my pants set off the metal detector. How uncool is that.

In Phil, yes, you silly. But I never planned to get passed there.

Don't you know thermonuclear weapons are more effective if not detonated at ground level but in mid air? A simple air pressure sensor combination could detect when the plane is near the airport at Phily as when an airplane is landing, air pressure increases. Detecting this and setting an event at the optimum altitude/distance from Phily could achieve mid-air detonation of my multi-megaton 10$ nuclear warhead. As you see, I've spend some time planning this kind of things. All I have to do is hope that for 10$ the lousy thing also works. Maybe if I buy 5 warheads and puzzle the best parts together I can get 1 working one. :D

Yes, I knew that about nukes, I thought maybe you were going to take it to my house and give it to me to detonate it myself - you seem to think I am the dumbest CodeGuru, remember? Anyway, that sounds like a good plan. But the cabin is pressurized, and I think the cargo bay is too. So you wouldn't be able to detect pressure differences. Even if you could, differences in air pressure (perceived as turbulence) would have a much greater effect on it than an altitude of a couple feet or so, meaning it might set off while it is still a mile outside of the airport, not to mention several more miles away from downtown... so it would only decimate part of the city. But hey, you get what you pay for. Besides, who said where in the city I live? Or that I even do live in the city?

You forget that inside the pressure cabin the pressure in the craft is reduced to about one third of the ground atmospheric pressure to accomodate for the lower pressure at high altitudes. You can detect this and this also dampens out effects of turbulence.

I'm hoping I can get a multi-megaton warhead, so a mile or two off wouldn't cause that much problems. Say solarflare, where exactly do you live? No reason in particular. ;) :p

And you expect to buy it for ten bucks???? No, no, Simon! The Russians wouldn't give up something like that so easily. Nah, you'd need at least $15 for such an item.

No reason? Oh come on, you can admit it if you want. You want to come over to my house and have a meal with me, get to know me, be friendly, etc. cuz I'm such a good guy. Well if you must know, I live on 123 Fake St., USA.

I think I already have 15$. If you happen to see a bright white flash real soon, it is probably not going to be someone taking a picture of you. :D Well, maybe an X-Ray picture on the wall behind you. :p

Hmmm...123. Something tells me this is the safety combination of your vault or suitcase or so. :p Some extra small cash for me for buying that warhead.

1...2...3...4...5... That's the kind of combination an idiot would have on his luggage!

:D :D :D
I know that is from Space Balls. That's why I said that line but not the quote as it would be 12345 instead of the 123 you gave. Nice to see you remember that one too. That was a good one. :D

I figured that your quote was a reference to Spaceballs but I wanted to confirm it ;). I don't think there was a minute of that movie that wasn't memoriable.
