Hi all,

What is the main difference between Visual C++ Version 6.0 and Visual C++ .NET?
Thanks for the information.

I'd say it is the ability to do Managed Code in Visual C++ .NET.

Visual Studio .NET didn't impact Visual C++ as much as Visual Basic. Visual Studio .NET 2003 will do a lot, lot more for Visual C++. It incorporates the Visual Designers and other features of Visual Studio .NET. It also adds the mobile controls and such into the main tool.

Visual Studio .NET 2003 is in final beta right now and works with the .NET Framework 1.1.
