i seem to have a 100% chance of typing 'throw' 'trhow' the first time every time. what are words you seem to make a typo in more than others?

Welcome to Club Dysscriptia (instead of dyslexia :D). Never kept a list of it. I don't know if these are really typo's but 'were' and 'where' are classics, just as 'their'/'there', 'know'/'now' and 'are'/'or'. I don't know if these are typo's or spelling mistakes because I know the meaning of them, yet I seem to make on regular basis mistakes against them. About the more real typo's, I'll let you know once I come across one. So in short : similar things happen to me, but I don't keep track of them.

I usually get an extra key (the adjacent one) when I used my laptop. Example 'matter' becomes 'mastter' (take not that A & S are adjacent keys).

I do make typos everytime but I do check before hitting the 'submit' button.

The most common typo I see in CodeGuru is 'gurls' from you_know_who.:D

The ones that drive me nuts are:-

member - I always type "memeber"
return - "retunr" every time (darn - I even did it while typing up this and had to edit it!!)
approve - always type "apporve". Fortunately, you don't need that word much in programming ;)

#define retunr return

Problem solved! ;)

(I have actually seen similar defines used in commercial applications to correct typos!)

Is it considered a typo when [/code] is missing?
:D
