First full I would like to apologies for unsuitable topic. I hope no one will blame me for it. For quiet long time I have been looking for a people where my mind and my energy might require and respected. I been working for almost 10 years with kind of boring to me projects (because of financial difficulties), I have not a chance to do what I really want to do. No one seems to be interested in Artificial Intelligence. What is wrong with a marked? Or it just me, never meet right people. But my opinion, AI is over future. I am freak in programming, it take a biggest place in my live. I am interesting in engineering, hardware developing, and free software, I do develop software for free in one condition “if you like it send any amount of money to my bank account” … I don’t know, I am not really aspirating at this moment… Simply I just am trying to find a job where I can express myself. A lot of words shouldn’t be here, but what a heck. We have one live, it is time to do great things. My situation now The Netherlands, but am not Dutch. So I looking forward to see you opinion Thanks for your attention

I know how you feel .... When you want to create art, but meet the routine instead. Dont know how much of a real help I can be with me being a fair load of utopian fanatic, but i ll have to say:

Do you have a family ? No ? Then why do you do what you dont like ? You are young (hopefully) and strong (hopefully :D ) so why bother with jobs you hate ? or are not keen of simply put ? Drop it, cut the rope, and trust your mind. Your mind is like ocean, when its calm you see the horizon :) And seeing the horizon is like knowing where you want to be heading, where your future is.
If you are alone, and all you need is food, cut on your expenses, and be an artist rather than businessman. Be both if you can, but foremost an artist - express yourself !

Many people are starving physically but are in deep sense of inner peace with their egos, ambitions and moods. Go figure, which suits you best.

AI rocks. it does. Sooner or later it will arrive, and everybody will be stunned by the possibilities it offers. Programming will never be the same, it may even dissappear over time as a whole. Psychology will elevate to new levels, intersex relationship mysteries will be solved, and boredom will sink into history :)
When i was like 16-17, i used to dream about simulating human brain, and making it possible through a program. I used to read all sorts of wacky books where neuronets, synapses, and pattern recognition were explained, without really following authors thought, due to my relative lack of skills and insight. Nevertheless, it is still in the back of my head, as that shiny new frontier. ...Eh...AI rocks....it does.

I dont know any good AI people, but I bet, the guys here will arrive shortly with major help, many of them know a lot about this, and do have contacts in this field area if thats what you need ;)

You are right - its time to do great things. From me i would rephrase "its time to do appealing things" :D
Try to make money on your creativity, on your innovation, on your IDENTITY expression - be it programs, design or paintings. Programming has a lot of unresearched room still, there is place for talent and progress. Fill it in, be my guest !

Psychology will elevate to new levels, intersex relationship mysteries will be solved, and boredom will sink into history

You two Martian guys certainly have good English ;)

Here's a question Oddmarr - have you thought about getting into a Research project at a University? I don't know if you have a degree or anything but I'd suggest you look for a suitable University and try for a doctorate or professorship. You'd then be getting paid for what you like doing PLUS you'd have the satisfaction of being able to pass your knowledge and enthusiasm on to other people like yourself....
