Dear All,

I am using Windows NT 4.0 (Workstation & Server).
I have two (2) SCSI hard-drives (drive C & drive D)
However, I could not access the D drive. It says (in the Disk Manager) D hard-drive is OFFLINE. :(

Have you encountered this kind of problem before.
What should I do to activate the offline drive?
Please help. Any help you may have is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

When this happens, there are "usually" events in the log file. Look there CAREFULLY!

If you have some response, please let us know.

A typical case is certain removable media (that leaves the controller intact, but is not registered as removable) will cause this problem.

While this is not what you seem to have, you never know what the computer "thinks" until you read the logs...

Hope this helps...

This is a total guess but is it possible that both drives are displaying "active" partitions? I think that NT only supports one "active" partition regardless of the number of drives. Your D: partition should be visible but not active.
