I want some material on how to implement sms messages sending capability in my vb application

There are 2 possibilities:
You can either plug a mobile phone on your serial port or you can find a local sms provider.
Latter is much easier and cheaper too. As soon as your SMS provider has opened your account, you can send sms messages by a simple http request.
