Hey All..
I got a problem that I need a little help solving.. I have written a Access 97 database that has a Front End *.mde file and a Back End *.mdb file where the tables are linked. This is because the Database is used for different locations and has different tables.
The problem is occasionally the End User will shut down there computer before shutting down the access database thus the Front End and Back End get unlinked and the tables from the backend are no longer stored in the Front End.
I would like to create an executable that would relink the database when the End User double clicks it instead of me having to dial in to the location via pcAnywhere each time it happens..
If anyone know of an easy way or an example program (or even a shareware program already written) that would be appreciated...
Thanks
Frank
