There is a homestay program for American and international students... for anyone who wants to study Japanese language and culture. I donot know whether you guys have known about this already or not, so I said it was "old":D not new. What I have known so far is that this program is opened in summer and anyone who joins the program will have a 3 week homestay in Hokkaido, Japan. If anyone here who wants to join the program, ask the school near where you are staying for more information. :D
