how to access the file from other system

hello every body

i have got lan network in the office. i created a html file in one system. i like to access the same file in other system as a web page by using browser. please suggest me how to access the file

You need a wb server installed on the system that has the web page on it...

apache from http://httpd.apache.org/ (51% Internet runs on it)
or
Xitami from http://www.xitami.net/ (small, good for experimenting)

install them.

From another computer type the ip address on that computer on the browser

ex: http://127.96.34.2/

You can get the ip address by typing ipconfig at the command prompt (c:\>)

And if you have a firewall, you will have to configure it too...
