Passing Date Value

In Crystal Reports, after passing a Begin and End Date from VB how do I display those dates in the report. For example Report header contains
Begin Date : 01/01/1999 VBvarBDate
End Date : 08/18/1999 VBvarEDate

The dates are the values passed from VB to CRW.
