Sorting ListItems or subitems

If the list View has these values as listItems or Subitems,
how to sort these values as Shown in bellow when click on the column headers?

generally you must pad the string numbers (data in listview is alpha - not numeric) with 0's before you sort and then remove leading 0's if desired after sorting
