Hello, I've included a seacrh button on my form, the problem is that:
I do a search, then I want to edit the found record, but vb keeps telling me Field not updateable, bound property (something like that)
On the form I didn't include Delete, Add or Edit buttons.
Can somebody help¿

My guess is thazt the controls are bound to a datasource (could be a datacontrol, could be a recordset). The thing that's happening is that the uncerlying field (or perhaps the entire recordset) cannot be updated.
You might not have added the buttons for it, but when you change the value of a bound control, the datasource will automatically be updated (or at least, it will try).

Make sure you use another (unboiund) control to take the search criteria.
If you do need to change the data at that point, try finding out why you cannot update the data (could be because the recordset is opened read-only, or because you are trying to update an autonumber column, or something like that)
