how to read word and excel files in asp

Hi,

Please tell me how to read word and Excel files using vbscript, or javascript.


I have data stored in word tables how can i access it.

Also i have excel document , which i want to access by cells (with out considering excel a datasource)


Please tell me how that would be possible
