ADODC Error

I have started to create an application that is based on a set of Oracle Tables. I am using the ADODC object to connect to these tables but am getting an error.

I can set up the ADODC connection fine - the test connection works OK, and I can see a list of tables from the Oracle database.

However when I set a text box to look at a specific field I get the error:

[ADODC]: Unknown Error. [ADO]:

I have installed Servive Pack 5 since in an attemp to fix this but have had no success. Can anyone help?

Once I had a similar errror. I have tried everything in a book and nothing helped. Finally I found out that there is an interference with other programs. In my case it was antivirus. I would recommend to exclude all the programs in the startup group and run the app. If it runs, add the programs to the stratup group 1 by 1.
To do so, in the run menu run msconfig. Go to startup tab and uncheck all the programs.
