I have to develop following system:
Different machinedata have to be transfered to headoffice. Clientapplication have to determine machineinfos via serial interface and than a datatransfer (wirless!!) should happen....
My idea:
CLIENT SIDE
use a nokia communicator, develop a C++ app which triggers the com1-port and sends than email or sms to server in headoffice.
SERVER SIDE
develop app which automatically checks the email-incoming and than feed a MDB-database.
if anybody have better ideas or have any experience in such things please response to this message!!!!
