I have a great problem that I ever faced.
The situation is as written below.
1) Installed the Crystal Report 6.0 in my machine for the Report Genetation in visual Basic 6.0
The Drivers come along with Crystal Report 6.0 have the same version 3.51.170800 including Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle
But previously the computer has ODBC version 2.573.291100.
2) After the istallation of Crystal report,Now the MS-OLEDB native provider for Oracle Doesn't work.
But sometimes MS ODBC for ORACLE driver works.
Now, Through that Connection by ODBC Driver , if the Database table has a column of numeric values more than 2 digit,
then IT SHOWS NEGATIVE VALUES.
suppose, the value is 120 , it is retrived as -20 .
again if it is 301 , then as -32.
One thing the VB on that particular machine works normally in another machine on the LAN.
Can you suggest me about this.
Is the Computer can be rescued from reinstallation from the OS level ?
