I want to use a free proxy so that no one wont know where I m coming from, they wont know my server ither.
But I dont know how ? True !
Could you tell me how to use it ? :)
A lot of people use it nowadays, and I dont want to get trouble with anyone, I want to know how to use it ...

Normally, a proxy server will provide an installer that will do most of the configuration for you. You just download the software. You may need to go to your Internet Options and fine tne some settings, but that will usually be explained in a readme you can also download.

Note, though. I am only saying this if you are looking to surf for porn, keep some privacy, or are just trying to keep on being able to come to this site (I find it a bit silly that people get angry at your multiple names since you're just exercising some creativity...). If however, you have any nefarious purposes, I will be very upset at you.

Just search google for "open proxy list" and you'll get what you need. Usually, you don't even have to install any software, just change the browser properties.

This said, I don't think it's even remotely helpful for you on CG ;) The first time you make a post with any username, it's easy to tell that it's you :D

I have a lot, but I dontknow how to use. I didnt mean to use it as something bad, I mean I wanted to know how it is installed and works, I dont know anything about internet...
What you mean is just get a free proxy in those lists and then put one in my "manual proxy configuration" 's HTTP proxy edit box , right ?
I tried to put one in but I could hardly access CG, it s really slow...:). I know I was using it incorrectly but I dont know how to fix...
Could you tell me ?

The more bridges you burn, the more alone you will feel. I don't ever need to post, and I'll respect your request. Just realise that you are not left with many who support your continued stay when you attack the remaining few who have been.

Yep, that's it. It's normal that it's slow though, since many other people will be using the same proxy server. If you want a faster one, you'll have to look much harder.
