Hi!
I am about to convert a Filemaker database to SQL server and I'm not sure how to do it. I have built a new SQL database design that I want to import the data into. I have different fields and different field names, additional fields and I have also left out some fields that will not be needed in the new application built againts the database.
I want to accomplish this with a DTS package or something like it, where I can match fields and stuff as I import the data (Ex Field CName in Filemaker should be CompanyName in my SQL, Field organisationnumber in the same table in Filemaker should not be imported at all and so on).
What do I need and how do I proceed?
Regards
