Creating a LayoutManager

Hello,


Does anyone have any code snipets of creating a unique LayoutManager class?

I would like to create a LayoutManager that would only allow certain placement

of components even if the user resizes the JFrame. Basically, a 2, 6 gridlayout

or a 6, 2 gridlayout as the only options when the user resizes. Any ideas

or code would be greatly appreciated.
