Development tools for Pocket PC

Hello!
I'm a beginner when it comes to Pocket PC's. I want to start creating
software for Pocket PCs but I'm not sure what to use. I found the
Microsoft embedded tools (Visual Tools) that offer the MS Visual Basic
and Visual C++ for use. I want to know if there are other development
tools for Pocket PCs ... ? Other SDKs or at least other IDEs... And of course ... what you recommend ??

Are you doing your final year project,,, welll there are the Compact Framework ,, you can program it in visual C# , if u know Java this will be easy enough ,, I do not know much about C++ ,, I am picking it up now though ,,,, I am programming PPC applications in Embeded Visual C++ 4.0 now ,, cause my company requires me to do so ,, so no questions ask must obey......
