Hi,
Im learning Java on my own at least trying to. Does anyone know of a good course possibly (cheap)
I work during the day, so im looking for an evening course. Thanks

Core Java Fundementals Vol I by SUN is a good book to read .

if you haven't ever coded any language before, at all, then get 'Java for Students' by Douglas Bell and Michael Parr (Prentice Hall). It's awesome, and doesn't assume any prior programming knowledge. I never coded before, and I love it.

Look that the turorials on the java.sun.com web-site. It is a great way to learn the basics of java.
Also look into CBT (Computer Based Training)...
I could recommend a good java book, but not all books are for everyone. Pick a good book on Java that you feel comfortable with and go throught it. Oreilly is a good place to start.
