I am trying to make java based web application for Ecommerce. Can anyone please help me where I can find good tutorials or stuff on Java ecommerce.

What kind of stuff do you need to do. Maybe java is not the answer. If you could provide a few more details, I might be able to help you. In general there really is not a "ecommerce" part to java....but if you put all of the different parts to java together (servlets, applets, CORBA...etc) you can create yourself a nice secure application.

Let me know some more requirements and I will see if I can help you out some.

2. Shopping Baskets.

Of course this post is way out of date - but if I found it there may be others searching for a java ecommerce application.

The company I work for has recently released a java e-commerce product - MerchantSpace (http://www.merchantspace.com).

Check it out - there are very few non-enterprise java shopping cart or java catalog applications available (especially J2EE compliant), so it may be able to meet your needs.
