pocket pc can't establish connection

My pocket pc was working fine with .net and all of a sudden one day it stops working with .net. Everytime I try to connect to the pocket pc from .net I get a cannot establish connection error. It works through active sync just fine. Does anyone know why this is? Also is there a way to change the total memory size in the emulator?
