Java Mail API and Unix

Hi Gurus,

Now i started exploring Unix and Java. I am using Mail API to send mail, through MS-Exchange on NT. It is working fine.Now can i use the same code to work on unix box. On my Unix box i have sendmail as MTA. or are there any configuration issues

Please advice me
