CD_ROM Sensing pure Java application

I need a pure java program to sense the CD-ROM drive on a Windows machine and a Macintosh and return its folder name.For example, e: could be a CD-ROM drive on a windows machine. This sensing should be done programmatically and the returned result should be able to pass on to Installshield tool. Is this possible ? If so can I get a sample program.
