What is your favourite OS and web browser.(name+version).?

I use windows xp(sometimes windows98) and firefox.

I have been using Windows in various flavors for a very long time, but I must admit I have been becoming more and more impressed by Linux and the Gnome dektop (Ubuntu "Hoary Hedgehog" distro) lately. Certainly has come a long way since the last time I had a go. The idea of going Linux exclusively is not really that alien to me any more.

As for browsers I switched to Firefox a while ago, and never looked back. Love it.

But software for linux is not pupular for common user. So for programmer windows is more helpful.

Yes of course. I still develop for Windows mostly, but for my own personal use, Linux is just fine.
